Thadeus’ Beginning Electric Lead Guitar featuring the Nashville Numbering System

This book will teach how to begin to play Electric Lead Guitar by using the Nashville Numbering System. Each note of the scale is assigned to a number. Instead of having to memorize all the letters in each major scale, all you have to remember is the numbers 1 through 7. The student will learn the A major scale in all 5 positions on the guitar along with the chords associated with that key. They will learn to play arpeggio’s for the chords. They will also learn to play 3rd and 6th harmonies over the chords. At the end of the course the student will be able to play in all 5 positions of the A major scale and transpose to all major keys.
